Chocolate Orbs with oranges

Meatballs is one of the things that Sweden is really famous for, so I decided to tell you how to make a twist of the original not so famous Chocolate Orbs by adding Oranges. These are really simple cookies to make, it’s fast and you don’t have to wait for them while they are in the oven since you never use it when making them.

100 g butter

1 dl sugar

3 dl rolled oats

2 tablespoons of cocoa

2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar

¾ dl orange juice

Sprinkles of your choice

  1. You mix everything except the rolled oats. You don’t need a baking mixer or an electric mixer to do this but I think it will help a lot. It will also divide the butter more easily into the dough so got don’t end up with a bunch of butter lumps in it.
  2. You add the rolled oats and mix some more.
  3. Then it’s time to roll them into small balls and then roll them in sprinkles. If you feel that the dough is a bit to loos when you roll them later add some more rolled oats, but be careful about using too much since the sprinkles wont attach to them.
  4. Put them in the fridge for about 10 minutes or so before eating them.
